🐾 Celebrating World Otter Day 2025! 🦦

This year, we marked World Otter Day with two incredible awareness events in Pokhara and Kanchanpur, uniting students, educators, and conservationists in the mission to protect our precious otters and their habitats.

📍 In Pokhara, we engaged with 75 enthusiastic students from Rainbow Academy Homes and Nepal Bharat Maitri Vidyalaya. Through fun and interactive sessions, the students learned about the vital role otters play in freshwater ecosystems and why their conservation matters.

📍 In Kanchanpur, at Siddhanath Science Campus, Mahendranagar, 50 university students and 5 faculty members came together to deepen their understanding of otter conservation. Dr. Balram Awasthi presented insightful findings on the Status, Distribution, and Threats to Otters in Shuklaphanta National Park, while Purna Man Shrestha, joined virtually to speak on Otters in Nepal.

Thank you to all participants and supporters for helping us spread the word and stand up for otters! Let’s continue working together to protect these unique and playful guardians of our waterways. 💧🌿
