We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Laxmi Devi Rajbhandari for her generous contribution of NRs. 25,00,000 to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) for the construction of an Audiometric Room at KIOCH–Kathmandu Children’s Hospital.

This meaningful donation, made in the eternal memory of her beloved daughter, Ms. Sunita Rajbhandari (July 26, 1968 – Jan 23, 1969), and her late husband, Dr. Purushottam Rajbhandari (January 26, 1932 – March 22, 2018)—Nepal’s pioneering first ENT surgeon—stands as a powerful legacy of compassion and service.

Her generosity will help improve hearing care for countless children and honor a lifetime dedicated to advancing healthcare in Nepal.

Thank You, Agni Foundation!

Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) extends its heartfelt gratitude to Agni Foundation, the non-profit arm of Agni Group and the sole authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, on the joyous occasion of its 35th anniversary.

Agni Foundation generously donated two Mahindra XUV400 electric SUVs to KIOCH. These vehicles will play a vital role in strengthening our hospital operations, outreach programs, and community-based services—helping us reach more children and families with timely care.

During the event, Ms. Susan Vaidya Shrestha, President of Agni Foundation, shared, “For 35 years, we have grown together with our teams, partners, and communities. Today, we take a small but meaningful step to support KIOCH in reaching more children and families with care and opportunity. KIOCH is not just a medical institution; it is a place where hope is protected, families find strength, and futures are nurtured. We are humbled to support this meaningful work.”
