Jayshree Music Society is deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Janakavi Durga Lal Shrestha. 🕊️🙏

His remarkable eight-decade journey as a poet and lyricist enriched Nepal Bhasha literature and left an indelible mark on Nepal’s musical heritage. His timeless creations—most notably the iconic “Phoolko Aankhama Phoolai Sansar” 🌸🎶—will continue to inspire, move, and resonate with generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and countless admirers. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his invaluable literary and musical legacy live on forever. 🕯️🌺

A heartfelt tribute to a literary giant and a timeless voice of Nepal. 🙏❤️
