आज, हामी प्रेमको सबैभन्दा ठूलो कार्यलाई सम्झन्छौ।

यस पवित्र दिनमा, हामी येशू ख्रीष्टको बलिदानलाई प्रतिबिम्बित गर्छौं - एउटा बलिदान जसले मानवतामा आशा, छुटकारा र अनन्त अनुग्रह ल्यायो।

उहाँको पीडाले हामीलाई प्रेमको गहिराइ, क्षमाको शक्ति र नयाँ सुरुवातको प्रतिज्ञाको सम्झना गराउँछ।

यदि तिमीहरूका प्रभु र गुरु भईकन मैले तिमीहरूका गोडा धोएको छु भने तिमीहरूले पनि एक-अर्काका गोडा धुनुपर्छ, किनकि मैले तिमीहरूलाई एउटा उदाहरण दिएको छु, र जसो मैले तिमीहरूका निम्‍ति गरें, तिमीहरूले पनि त्‍यसै गर। साँच्‍चै म तिमीहरूलाई भन्‍दछु, नोकर आफ्‍नो मालिकभन्‍दा ठूलो हुँदैन, अनि खबर लाने खबर पठाउनेभन्‍दा ठूलो हुँदैन। यदि तिमीहरूले यी कुरा जान्‍यौ र ती गर्‍यौ भने, तिमीहरू धन्‍य हुनेछौ।
