🇳🇵🌱 CQI Post-Harvest Processing, if you want to change coffee quality, start at the farm.

Brewing controls extraction.
Q Grader controls evaluation.
But Post-Harvest Processing controls the future of flavor.

And this time, we are not doing it alone.

This farm-based program is happening because Nepal’s strongest community builders are working together:

🤝 Nepal Coffee Producers Association (NCPA)
🌿 Eco Friendly Agro Organic Concept Pvt. Ltd. (Farm host)
☕ Coffee O’ Clock Pvt Ltd (Training & coordination partner)
🇹🇭 Espresso Academic Thailand (Training partner)

When these teams align, it means one thing:

This is real, serious, field-level training built for real results.

🔥 CQI Post-Harvest Processing – Farm-Based Intensive (6 Days)
Hands-on, upstream, field-level processing science delivered directly at origin.

This is for producers and professionals who want to improve quality, consistency, and market value from the source.

📅 6-Day CQI Program Structure

This farm-based program includes four official CQI courses:

🟢 Intro to Post-Harvest Processing – 1 Day
How processing decisions impact cup quality and value.

🟢 PHP Good Practices – 2 Days
Cherry intake, sorting, hygiene protocols, drying systems, moisture control, and risk prevention.

🟢 Coffee Fermentation: From Microbes to Flavors – 2 Days
Microbial pathways, fermentation science, flavor development, and process control strategies.

🟢 Yeast Inoculation in the Field – 1 Day
Practical yeast application and controlled fermentation management at farm level.

🎓 What You Will Earn

Upon successful completion and required assessments, participants will earn four separate CQI certificates:

✅ CQI Intro to Post-Harvest Processing Certificate
✅ CQI PHP Good Practices Certificate
✅ CQI Coffee Fermentation: From Microbes to Flavors Certificate
✅ CQI Yeast Inoculation in the Field Certificate

Four structured CQI certifications within one intensive farm-based program.

🇳🇵☕ SCA Q Grader, this is not just a course. This is the standard of coffee quality.

After the success of SCA Sensory Intermediate, SCA CVA, SCA Roasting Intermediate, SCA Barista Intermediate and Professional programs in Nepal, Coffee O’ Clock and NPCA insisted we bring the next level to Chitwan:

🔥 SCA Q Grader Intensive Format

If you are ready to move from brewing coffee to professionally evaluating coffee at global standard, this is your moment.

This is the new Q system, built around evaluation and calibration using the SCA CVA format.

The focus has evolved.

It is no longer about “good vs bad coffee.”
It is about understanding coffee quality within market preference, context, and purpose.

There is no absolute good or bad coffee.
There is calibration, consistency, and professional judgment.

🎓 What you will earn

Upon successful completion of all required exams and assessments, you will earn:

✅ SCA Q Grader Certification

This certification confirms your ability to apply a complete quality framework, including:

• Cupping protocol and calibration
• Descriptive analysis and olfactory skills
• Scientific triangulation
• Green coffee grading and defect identification
• Roast evaluation
• Sensory and cupping exams under real exam conditions

This is full-spectrum understanding, from green to cup.

Understanding Q Evolved

Today there are two common pathways toward Q Evolved:

1️⃣ Those who already hold Q Grader, then complete SCA CVA
Strong pathway for producers and upstream professionals.

2️⃣ Those who complete SCA Sensory Professional and SCA CVA
They may evolve as well, but may not experience deep green grading training the same way.

In this program, we cover the full story:

• The evolution of Q and why it changed
• How CVA reshaped evaluation
• How to connect physical grading with sensory results
• How this benefits the coffee community more than ever

Led by

Natt Muangsiri
• Managing Director, Espresso Academic
• SCA AST (Authorized SCA Trainer)
• SCA Q Instructor
• CQI Lecturer
• Brewing Competition Finalist
• Coach of multiple national champions

Established since 2016, Espresso Academic has trained and certified thousands of coffee professionals regionally and internationally.

For this program, the Managing Director himself will be in Chitwan to teach personally, guide calibration, and ensure serious exam preparation.

Proven Track Record
Recent Q programs delivered by Natt and the team:

• Trusted by more than 60 Q Graders and Q Instructors who trained CVA with Natt
• Bangkok – back to back completion with 12 students
• Vientiane – 24 students

Multiple retake opportunities are supported within the program period.
Students practice until they are truly ready, then retake with confidence.

The goal is real calibration, not luck.
