World Bank Groupโ€™s latest Nepal Development Update projects Nepalโ€™s economic growth to slow to 3.7% in FY27, following disruptions to industry and services caused by the August 26 floods.

In FY 28, as reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts gain momentum, economic activity is expected to strengthen, supporting a recovery in growth to 5.2%.
