Wikimedians of Nepal A volunteer organization aimed to support for development of Open Educational Content through Wikipedia and it's sister projects

उद्देश्यहरू:

(क) नेपालभित्र बोलिने भाषाका विभिन्न विकिमीडिया परियोजनाहरूको विकास तथा प्रवर्द्धन गर्न सहयोग गर्ने तथा ती भाषामा स्थानीय विद्यूतीय सामग्री विकास गर्न प्रोत्साहित तथा सहयोग गर्ने।


(ख) नेपाली लगायत नेपालमा बोलिने सबै भाषाका पाठ्यसामग्री (लेख, पुस्तक, रचना आदि) लाई विद्यूतीय माध्यममा सृजनाऽ भण्डार, प्रशारण, प्रकाशन गर्ने तथा त्यस्ता सामग्रीको संख्यात्मक र गुणात्मक विकास गर्न पहल गर्

ने। त्यस्ता सामग्रीको संरक्षण र प्रवर्द्धन गर्नका लागि सहयोग गर्ने।


(ग) उपरोक्त सामग्रीहरूलाई स्थानीय भाषामा खुला श्रोत (Open Source) वातावरणमा प्रकाशित गरी सर्वसाधारणलाई विश्व ज्ञान कोषको रूपमा सहज र निःशुल्क उपलब्ध गराउने।


(घ) नेपालभित्र बोलिने भाषाहरूको बैज्ञानिक प्रयोग गर्नका लागि ज्ञान, सीप र वातावरण विकास गर्न पहल गर्ने।


(ङ) विकिमिडिया foundation को नेपाल च्याप्टरको रूपमा विकिमिडियाको तर्फबाट नेपाल सम्बन्धि मामलामा आइपर्ने समस्या, विवाद र अन्य अप्ठ्याराहरूलाई शान्तिपुर्ण रूपले समाधान गर्न पहल गर्ने।
