With the sheer number of problems plaguing our world today, we believe that the need for diplomacy and peace is a challenge which will burden many future generations. Here at SAIMUN 2015, we believe that getting young people to research, discuss and debate these issues are essential to making sure that a future of peace is not a fleeting want, but a possible reality. Solutions which solve half the
problem will not be enough to create a better world, and so they will have no place at SAIMUN. In the three days delegates will spend at SAIMUN they will strive to solve the tribulations that world leaders currently cannot. They will write resolutions, participate in heated debate and attain a level of understanding on the issues that they did not previously have. Delegates will understand the intricacies of diplomatic relations and the difficulties of trying to attain unanimous agreement. To be a better citizen of the world, you must understand its problems. You must want to solve those problems.
