Empowering through Leadership
There is a questionable situation about the shrinkage in a number of women in successively a higher level of organization. However, hard data describe the overall success of women in overall leadership in a higher position.
This is not only coming from traditional male dominating nature and the system that promotes males but also from the women’s side where we lack aspiration, the value of “continuing the fight”, and overcoming the barriers coming from gender inequalities.
Thus, Young Women for Change is trying to take an initiative in helping women to identify their leadership skill and empower them to identify themselves as a Leader. Let’s not only talk about empowerment let’s talk about empowerment through leadership.
