On today’s episode, specially curated for the ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking ' (World Drug Day), we are privileged to welcome Sonu, who is a community service provider, peer support worker, and community expert.

As with the 2026 theme of ‘World drug problem: persisting issues, new challenges, innovative responses,’ we shed light on the voices of many women who use and inject drugs and the persistent challenges they face daily. Ms. Sonu also discusses paths to recovery, changes that she would like to see with policies in Nepal, and hopes for the future of community service providers.
