🙌 Incredible how our 'Kamzang Kids' grow up so quickly! Tsering Choeden (then Sangmo) in her home village of Saldang, Upper Dolpo, about 15 years ago, when we first met her and her friends out collecting fire wood. After studying English, and then starting her full (sped-up) elementary school education in Kathmandu at about the age of 15, Tsering is now studying and working in Paris! Oui, c'est vrai! 🇫🇷

Who would like to sponsor this adorable young girl, Mingmar Dolma (age 8, class 2) from the extremely remote village of Dhe, in Upper Mustang, Nepal? She is the second youngest daughter of our long-time friend Nyima Choeten. We spent the afternoon with her (without knowing who's daughter she was) last spring on our Upper Mustang trek, and were completely taken-in by her ebullient personality!

The Kamzang Fund is looking for a sponsor for her education in either Jomsom or Pokhara. Any help would be VERY much appreciated by her family, who reside year-round in this far-flung Himalayan village, with a small substance farm and a few sheep and goats.

We'll visit them during our upcoming Sky Caves & Last Nomads of Mustang Camping Trek from 3 - 27 May! And we're offering a $200 contribution in your name (so a $200 discount to you) to The Nomad Fund incentive of The Kamzang Fund this year!
