Women in Data (WiD) Nepal is managed by a steering committee comprising twelve leading organizations committed to fostering opportunities for women in data and technology.

Celebrating how women have gone from being "the first woman" in the room to becoming "one of us" - valued and essential in the data community.

We're happy to create spaces where women feel seen, heard, and supported, breaking down barriers that once seemed impossible. From inspiring thousands to follow their dreams, take chances, and lead with confidence, to building a worldwide network where women help each other succeed.

Through the initiatives of Women in Data Steering Committee through data conferences, job fairs, workshops, and fellowships, this progress and creation of better world is possible. The impact shows in the stories of women finding their voice, careers taking off, and communities growing stronger because of their work.

Here's to the women who led the way, those who continue to lead, and all who will follow because of what you've done.

The Women in Data (WiD) Conference is a platform in that supports women in the data field, fostering collaboration among professionals, policymakers, and data enthusiasts.

Together with UK in Nepal, and , we've been supporting the Women in Data Nepal Steering Committee in raising awareness and creating opportunities for women in data and technology since 2020.

This year’s theme, सङ्‍कल्प: Using Data to Turn Promises into Progress, highlights the power of data in transforming commitments into meaningful action. By leveraging cross-sector collaboration and actionable strategies, we aim to drive real change through data-driven solutions. We’re also focusing on future collaborations and the importance of mentorship and networking in advancing women in the field. The WiD Steering Committee aims to continue empowering women through skill-building workshops and networking events.
