Friends of Sankhu

Friends of Sankhu Established in 1991,FOS is a not profit making NGO registered in Chief District Office/Kathmandu, and affiliated with Social Welfare Council.

It has a vision of enhancing rural development through the creation of self-awareness among the people of the community. FOS strongly believes that community members themselves are most knowledgeable about their problems, and with proper orientation, motivation and training they can identify the best way to solve problems and act accordingly. And believes that development process is a continuous p

rocess that can be sustained only through their participation at all levels in project cycle management. In harmony with vision and believes, FOS assists and mobilizes communities to make collective efforts for their GESI sensitive own socio-economic development, environmental protection and human resource development.
