Today, the Kathmandu Valley comes alive with the thundering hooves of Ghode Jatra (घोडे जात्रा). Legend tells us that this grand horse parade at Tundikhel is performed to trample the spirit of the demon Tundi, symbolizing the ultimate victory of good over evil.
