Standing Together in Service and Solidarity

In response to the recent flooding that affected communities in Rasuwa, a team of Scouts, including Rover, Ranger, and Scout Leaders, volunteered to support affected households in the Devighat area of Nuwakot.

From 31 August to 02 September 2026, the team spent three days on the ground, assisting and standing alongside families whose homes and daily lives had been affected by the flood.

The field response team included:
• Scouter Min Lama — President
• Rover Leader Trainer Krishna Chalise (Field Incharge)
• Scouter Dipesh Thapa — Crew Programme & Initiative Director
• Rover Sangam Gajmer
• Ranger Jasmita Poudel

During difficult times, voluntary service is more than simply offering assistance—it is about standing with people, sharing responsibility, and reminding affected communities that they are not alone.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to every family affected by the recent flood and recognize the courage and resilience they continue to demonstrate during this challenging time.
This field volunteer effort reflects the fundamental spirit of Scouting: being prepared to serve, responding with compassion, and standing beside communities when support is needed.
Service in action. Compassion in every step. Solidarity in every difficult moment.
