About HCN

Hamro Chahana Nepal(HCN) was founded in 2009 (Govt. of Nepal, Dist. Administration Office Kathmandu, Reg No: 36/2066-067) to work together with marginalized and underprivileged populations, especially women and children, to facilitate positive change in their standard of living through education, healthcare and environmentally sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Our core strength lies in the commitment of our diverse professional and academic membership which enhances our ability to serve hard- to -reach communities in rural Nepal. In the years 2009-2019, HCN has worked primarily with the rural communities such as Bote Community of Palpa district. HCN placed special emphasis on engaging the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded groups with special focus on women, dalits and marginalized groups.
