โ€œReceiving a scholarship is not the final achievement; it is the beginning of a new journey.โ€

At the HELP Post-SEE Scholarship Award Ceremony 2026, Mr. Tasi Lama, Chairperson of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality and Chief Guest of the ceremony, shared an inspiring message with the newly selected scholarship recipients.

Reflecting on his own journey, he shared that he completed his SLC in 2050 B.S. and recalled how he always dreamed of standing first in his class. His friend remained the topper from Grade 1 to Grade 9, but through persistence and determination, he eventually achieved his goal. His story is a reminder that resilience, discipline, and consistent effort can turn aspirations into achievements.

Addressing the scholarship recipients, he emphasized that the scholarship comes with greater responsibility and motivation. He encouraged the students to remain disciplined, stay committed to their dreams, and recognize that they are not only recipients of an opportunity but also a hope for Nepalโ€™s future.

He also highlighted the important role of teachers in shaping society and the need to value their contribution more meaningfully.

Reflecting on the broader role of educated and talented individuals in society, he encouraged capable young people to step forward and take active roles in leadership and public service. He emphasized that talented and academically strong individuals have an important role to play in decision-making and contributing to the development of their communities and the country.

Congratulations to all HELP Post-SEE Scholarship Awardees 2026, and best wishes as you begin this new chapter of your journey!

From a rural community in Bhotenamlang, Sindhupalchok, to serving as a Medical Officer at Bir Hospital, Dr. Kanchan Gurungโ€™s journey is a powerful reflection of how education and opportunity can transform lives.

As a HELP Scholarship Awardee in 2015, Dr. Kanchan shared how the Post-SEE Scholarship played a crucial role during her +2 education, helping her continue her studies despite the challenges she faced. She later pursued her MBBS in Bangladesh and turned her dream of becoming a doctor into reality.

Today, as she serves patients at Bir Hospital, she carries with her the support, trust, and encouragement she received along the way.

Her story reminds us that a scholarship is more than financial support-it can build confidence, open doors, and inspire individuals to give back to their communities.

We are proud to celebrate Dr. Kanchan Gurung and the journey she represents.

On Day 1 of our 3E Camp, we brought one of our most cherished traditions to life: an intimate Alumni Panel & Sharing Session, facilitated by our founder and Director, Mr Jimmy Lama.

Sitting together in true community spirit, our new scholars listened intently as four past graduates returned to guide and ground the incoming cohort:
๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐“๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐  (Nurse, Jugal Rural Municipality Health Post): Reflected on shedding her early misconceptions of city life, urging scholars to lead with positivity and never hesitate to reach out when help is needed.

๐๐š๐ฅ๐๐ž๐ง ๐‹๐š๐ฆ๐š (Photographer & Videographer): Spoke about navigating severe financial hardship, and how clear personal ambition alongside his HELP scholarship kept him moving forward.

๐’๐š๐›๐ข๐ง ๐€๐๐ก๐ข๐ค๐š๐ซ๐ข (Civil Engineer): Emphasized that pure drive, the commitment to simply โ€œDO ITโ€ and stay at the top of your game, is what turns potential into lasting success.

๐Š๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง ๐“๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐  (Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager at HELP): Highlighted the subtle trap of negative influences, encouraging scholars to stay grounded, remain true to themselves, and keep their path clear.

Having walked this exact road, seeing Sushmita, Palden, Sabin, and Karan step up as mentors stands as a powerful testament to what grassroots support and authentic youth synergy can achieve.

To our alumni mentors: thank you for pouring your time, wisdom, and heart back into the next generation!

At the HELP Post-SEE Scholarship Award Ceremony 2026, Mr. Sukra Chuman, Chairperson of Anbukhaireni Rural Municipality, delivered a deeply moving keynote address that reminded us why educational equity and early guidance are essential.

Reflecting on his own childhood aspirations and the financial hardships that so often dictate access to higher education, Mr. Chuman offered an honest perspective on dignity, humility, and the true purpose of learning. He underscored how targeted interventions like the Saathi Teachers Programme and HELP scholarships are actively bridging the gaps where public services have fallen short.

Watch the full video to hear his inspiring message in full.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sukra Chuman for his presence and powerful words, and to our generous donors and partners whose support makes this impact possible.

During an inspiring session at our inaugural 3E Camp, a flagship initiative under HELPโ€™s Post-SEE Scholarship Programme, our 43 scholars were encouraged to look deeper. Led by trainer Sujit Rai, the session challenged students to consider a fundamental truth: a name is what you are called, but your dreams, values, and actions define who you truly become.

โ€œWho are you?โ€
When asked this question, most of us state our name. But is a name truly our identity?

To bring this concept to life, each scholar wrote their highest ambition on a balloon-shaped sticker and placed it on a shared wall. Within moments, the room was transformed into a vibrant tapestry of future doctors, software engineers, scientists, nurses, teachers, police officers, social workers, and so many more.

However, the session went far beyond identifying career paths. Students navigated their clarity for inspiration and also had meaningful, one-on-one sharing of their dreams and, yes, their confusions too.

Through these student-led conversations, scholars learned directly from each other's perspectives and drew strength from shared ambitions.

One scholar shared that her desire to be a nurse goes beyond financial satisfaction. Another dreamt of being a scientist because he saw what needed innovation in his village.

While sharing these dreams, scholars realised that having dreams is such a common thing yet a powerful fuel to drive oneself further.

The 3E Camp (Engage, Explore, and Emerge) was designed precisely for moments like this to build a strong community among scholars starting their post-secondary education.

Thank you for investing in these remarkable young leaders and helping turn their aspirations into reality.

Over the past years, HELP has established over 50 community greenhouses. Now, weโ€™re embarking on an exciting new venture in Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality, partnering on a 50-50 basis with two local schools.

Installation and construction are officially underway!

Building these greenhouses takes care and time, but we are eagerly anticipating the sweet fruits this patience will bring us, from hands-on agricultural learning to fresh produce for students and the community.

Stay tuned as these green spaces come to life!
