As we conclude the historic 17th World Peace Forum in Lumbini, our commitment does not end with the closing ceremony; it begins anew in our daily actions. True peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the active cultivation of harmony within our communities and with our planet. Let us carry the spirit of Lumbini back to our respective corners of the world, planting the seeds of understanding, sustainability, and hope for generations to come.

The 17th World Peace Forum in Lumbini (running from September 21 to 23, 2026) has been a profound convergence of global dialogue, cultural diplomacy, and shared visions for peace.
As today marks the second day of the forum (September 22), the resonant echoes of yesterday's unforgettable opening cultural highlights—most notably the enchanting live performance by the legendary Nepali folklore ensemble Sur Sudha on September 21—continue to inspire attendees and delegates.
Blending traditional Nepali instrumentation with universal melodies, Sur Sudha's performance at Buddha Maya Gardens served as a powerful reminder of how art and music transcend borders to foster harmony, perfectly setting the spiritual and cultural tone for the entire forum.
