Mission Himalaya was founded in July 2008 by a group of socially committed professionals like teachers, tourism entrepreneurs and social workers. It is registered with the Office of the Company Registrar, Government of Nepal as Company not Distributing Profit to help rural and back tracked community of Nepal. Not only have we committed to reaching out to those in need of proper Healthcare and Educ

ation, but also dedicated to help orphaned and homeless children of Nepal.Even though we are few in number, but we are deeply committed to help serve the Nepalese people. Our primary projects include:

A Self Sustaining Eco friendly Home for Orphans based in Kavre, Panauti providing where we provide a proper care and nurturing to children who have been abandoned or been orphaned. Rural Health camps and Free Eye Surgical camps : The Concept is to reach out to communities in rural Nepal , where they have very little access to Healthcare. We bring in specialized teams of foreign doctors and Medical Volunteers, who work along with Local doctors to provide free Medical Check ups, Medicine, Eye Surgeries and Counselling. Earthquake Relief Aid : Our many Earthquake relief aids, have reached around 13 districts affected by the April 2015 Earthquake, we have also been working in collaboration with the United Nations and The Government of Nepal, to help rebuild communities , schools and clinics, that were destroyed in the Earthquake.
