Hands for Biodiversity Conservation is a Non-political, non-profitable organization which was established in 2010 by a dynamic, energetic, professionalism group of foresters and other people for the promotion, development, conservation and for sustainable development of Natural resources. Most of the founder of HBC has been working in field of Natural resources since very long individually. Some f
ounder of this organization has been working in Department of forest of Nepal. They have been working throughout their service period for conservation and protection of forest, natural resources, wildlife, etc. With the plan to give a new structure and unite the all efforts of every individual this organization has been established. With a motto “An effort to save Nature” HBC is continuously heading a lead for the well being and well development of Nepal’s Natural Resources. Within the period of establishment HBC is conducting role for the management of Natural Resources. We are also dedicated for helping forest technician through various field based training. Some of the main Objectives of HBC:-
- Work (management and protect) wild life, especially endangered and threatened Species.
- To work on the sector of Biodiversity Conservation.
- To conserve Natural Resources.
- To work on REDD.
- To work on Climate Change. HBC has been conducting several Programs such as:
- Technical support to Lumbini Environment Services Pvt Ltd for making of Management Plan for five Protection Forest.
- Plantation on different places on Environment Day.
- Proposal writing training for foresters.
- Publish article on Climate Change.
- Awareness on climate change.
- Cleaning and Pollution reduction Programs, etc.
