Supporting Hands Nepal

Supporting Hands Nepal Still recovering from the devastating earthquake in April 2015, there is a huge amount of work still to be done in Nepal.

Founded in October 2015, the idea for Supporting Hands Nepal (SHN) was conceived by founder Bishal Kapali - inspired from a long held childhood dream of opening an orphanage and nursing home. From a young age, Bishal realised that what really made him content was helping others and seeing people happy. “Somewhere humanity was lost and I am trying to find it”. Joining forces with five passionate an

d dedicated friends, all sharing the same philosophy of reaching out to those less fortunate, Supporting Hands Nepal was established. SHN sees these crisis situations as opportunities to demonstrate humanity and catalyze lasting change through the distribution of resources and the provision of support and education. SHN has a special interest in helping the most vulnerable members of society; children and the elderly, as well as in education. The work of SHN, however, is not limited to these particular areas. SHN coordinates projects wherever there is a need, whenever possible, to whoever possible.
