The Helpless Children Mother Centre is a non-profit, non - government, social organization which is inspired to help orphans, unprotected, helpless and abandoned children by providing them with the daily essentials of food, shelter & academic support Upon arrival it is evident that many children suffer from malnutrition and are i need of medical care. In Nepal, such children are often considered a
s outcasts and HCMC works hard to counteract such attitudes, so these children may be fully accepted into society. "When we see acrying child's face turn to smiles, the spontaneous sense of fulfillment is beyond words. We have then tasted the joy and satisfaction of social service to the most vulnerable in society." Objectives:
A) to Develop HCMC as a family centre, catering to the needs of the whole children. HCMC is more than just a place to live, it is HOME FAR AWAY FROM HOME! B) Provide schooling, including both academic and vocational education, thereby allowing children to develop skills in their line of interest. C) provide extra curricular activities like nature walk, sport, and various competitions
D) Provide protection, care, social security and education so these children may grow up to be responsible, self-reliant and respected citizens. E) To liase between the centre and the community, developing a relationship of trust and respect
Voluntary:
The centre is keen to welcome people who can teach the children academic or vocational skills, provide one - off health examinations and education, or who enjoy being with children and are willing to organize such things as sporting, excursions and picnics
Financial support:
Monetary donations are required to ensure the continues running of the centre. Donations are always much appreciated to fund one -off purchases such as school equipment, clothing and for the new school and vocational training centre. Provision of Supplies:
Any donation of supplies, including: clothes, medicine, furniture, utensils, books and sport materials would be gratefully received. ALL FORMS OF SUPPORT FOR THE CENTRE ARE MUCH NEEDED AND WE VALUE ALL IDEAS AND CONTRIBUTION ON HOW TO IMPROVE THE RUNNING OF THE CENTRE.
