HORAC NEPAL

Dear Friends, Sponsors, and Supporters,

You may have seen the heartbreaking news coming from Nepal today. A devastating flash flood has struck the Rasuwa region in northern Nepal, causing severe destruction to communities along the Bhotekoshi and downstream river areas. Homes, roads, bridges and other infrastructure have been affected, and rescue and relief operations are continuing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost loved ones, those who are still missing, the injured, and every family affected by this tragedy. 🙏💔

We also want to reassure all our friends and supporters that all of us at HORAC Nepal, including our children and team, are safe here in Kathmandu. We are very grateful to everyone who has contacted us and checked on our wellbeing.

Please continue to keep the people of Nepal, especially the families and communities affected by this disaster, in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for always caring for us and standing with Nepal during difficult times. ❤️🇳🇵

With gratitude,
HORAC Nepal

Our 17 children who are in school have successfully completed their final terminal examinations, marking a proud academic milestone for the organization. Of these, 13 children secured an outstanding A+ grade, two achieved an A grade, and one earned a B+ grade. In addition, one child has recently appeared in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), with results expected in the coming months.

These results reflect not only the children’s dedication and hard work but also the supportive learning environment fostered by HORAC. The organization’s continued commitment to providing care, guidance, and educational support has played a significant role in nurturing the children’s academic growth and confidence.

HORAC expresses its heartfelt joy and pride in the achievements of its children and extends best wishes to all for continued success in their upcoming classes and future academic journey.

The election period in Nepal has officially concluded, and after a week-long holiday, our children are happily back in school. This break was an important moment for the nation as citizens exercised their democratic rights, and now it is time for our children to refocus on their learning and growth.

At HORAC Nepal, education remains one of our highest priorities. We are grateful that our children can continue their studies with renewed energy and enthusiasm after the holiday. Each day in school brings them one step closer to a brighter future and greater opportunities in life.

We wish all our children the very best as they return to their classrooms. May they stay motivated, curious, and dedicated in their studies.

Every child deserves a safe home, warm food, and someone who believes in their future.

At HORAC Nepal, we are caring for children who have lost families, protection, and opportunities. For them, this home is not just a building — it is their only family.

But today, we are struggling to continue.

Without regular supporters, it is becoming very difficult to provide food, education, healthcare, and daily care for the children.

💛 Your support can change their story.

We are asking for people who will stand with these children regularly.
Even a small monthly support can help provide stability and hope.

🙏 Please consider becoming a regular supporter of HORAC Nepal and help us keep this home open for the children who need it most.

📩 If you would like to support or sponsor a child, please message us.

📚✨ Exam Time, Hopeful Hearts ✨📚
Our children at HORAC Nepal are preparing for their third terminal examinations starting from December 24.Every day, they are studying with dedication, dreaming of good results and a brighter future.

At the same time, we are facing some urgent challenges:
• Outstanding school fees need to be cleared as requested by the schools

• Our food supplies have been exhausted, and support is needed to provide daily meals

We believe that no child should have to worry about hunger or school fees while preparing for exams.

If you feel led to support the children of HORAC Nepal—whether for education or food—any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
