“SAARC International Honorary Fellowship & Excellence Award Conference 2026”
(Promoting Peace, Friendship, Leadership, and Regional Cooperation in South Asia)
2. Background & Rationale
South Asia represents one of the most culturally rich, historically connected, and socially diverse regions in the world. Despite shared heritage, the region continues to face challenges related to poverty, health inequality, education gaps, social justice, climate vulnerability, and regional cooperation.
The India–Nepal Friendship Forum, with a vision of strengthening people-to-people diplomacy and regional cooperation, proposes to organize a SAARC-level International Award Conference to:
Recognize exemplary leadership and service
Promote cross-border friendship and collaboration
Encourage peace-building initiatives
Strengthen regional solidarity
Inspire youth leadership and social responsibility
3. Objectives of the Conference
