Every child has potential. But not every child gets the same starting conditions.

In Bagmati Province, only 31.2% of Grade 1 children assessed in rural areas were on-track for school readiness, compared with 59.2% of Grade 1 children assessed in urban areas.

The difference is not simply about where a child lives. It points to the wider conditions, resources and learning environments surrounding them.

ARC believes a child’s circumstances may shape their beginning, but they should not decide their trajectory.

That is why ARC is built around sustained support that grows with each fellow.

This has been sitting on our work desk for a long time, quietly reminding us why we do what we do. ❤️

Knowing that our work has touched someone in our community, inspired them to contribute in their own way, and made them feel connected to what we’re trying to build means more than we can say.

Thank you, Shree , for this beautiful reminder. 🙏😇

The flower drawn on my hand is a gift from a sweet little kid of Grade 2 and the lovely bouquet is a gift from teachers 🌸💖
