➡️ Dr. Narayan Ghimire: A Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of Nepal, Dr. Ghimire holds an SJD and LL.M. from California (USA) and an M.A. LL.B. from Nepal. He founded the Centre for Rule of Law – Nepal, has served on commissions (e.g. probing diplomatic passport abuse), and regularly teaches and writes on constitutional law, human rights and legal aid. His expertise spans Nepal’s constitution, electoral law and public policy, with extensive experience drafting legislation and legal guidelines.
➡️ Sharu Joshi Shrestha: A policy analyst specializing in migration, gender and diaspora affairs. Ms. Shrestha has master’s degrees in Political Science (Tribhuvan University) and Women’s Development (The Hague). She served on Nepal’s Task Force for Foreign Labor Migration reforms and led UN women’s empowerment programs. She won the AFFUND Prize (2003) for a regional project empowering women migrant workers and has published 50+ articles on remittances and the Nepali diaspora. Her current work focuses on diaspora engagement and policy reform for migrant communities.
➡️ Prince Shah Chaudhary: A youth civic-technology leader and campaigner. He co-founded and serves as CEO of SpeakUp Nepal, a citizen-led petition platform that translates public feedback into government action. Under his leadership, the platform has hosted hundreds of petitions (23,000+ signatures) leading to multiple official government responses and parliamentary debates. Prince is a Civic Charge Fellow (Accountability Lab) focused on transparency and accountability. He works on mobilizing underrepresented young Nepalis through technology and advocacy for more inclusive governance.
➡️ Preeti Adhikary: Preeti Adhikary is a venture capitalist, community builder, and founder of The Great Nepali Diaspora (TGND), a global platform connecting Nepali professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers around the world. She is also the General Partner of Momo VC, a U.S.-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests in diverse founders across technology, sustainability, and social impact sectors. Preeti holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Advanced Management from the Yale School of Management, and has over a decade of experience in strategic marketing, venture building, and ecosystem development. Through TGND, she has built a vibrant network that promotes mentorship, investment, and dialogue among Nepalis worldwide. Her work focuses on leveraging diaspora capital - financial, intellectual, and social - to create systemic impact in Nepal’s development and governance landscape.
