पाकिस्तानको ब्रोड पिक (Broad Peak) हिमाल आरोहणका क्रममा हिमपहिरोमा परी आफ्नो ज्यान गुमाउनुभएका साहसी नेपाली पर्वतारोहीहरूप्रति Youth For Good - Nepal परिवार गहिरो दुख व्यक्त गर्दछ।

आफ्नो साहस, अदम्य हिम्मत र समर्पणले नेपालको नाम विश्वभर उच्च राख्ने ती वीर पर्वतारोहीहरूको असामयिक र अपूरणीय क्षतिले सिङ्गो देश र विश्व पर्वतारोहण क्षेत्रलाई नै स्तब्ध बनाएको छ। देशको शान र साहसका प्रतीक उहाँहरूप्रति भावपूर्ण श्रद्धान्जली अर्पण गर्दै मृत आत्माको चिर शान्तिको कामना गर्दछौँ।

साथै, यस कठिन घडीमा शोकसन्तप्त परिवारजन, आफन्त र सम्पूर्ण देशवासीप्रति Youth For Good - Nepal हार्दिक समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछ।

We didn't just plant trees. We planted purpose.
Youth for Good Nepal visited Shree Bitesh Basic School and brought something the Chepang community holds close to their heart, the Chiuri Tree. Because when you plant what already means something to people, it grows differently.

But we didn't stop at digging holes and walking away. We handed young Chepang hands their own saplings to plant in their own surroundings so as they grow, the trees grow with them. That's not afforestation. That's belonging.
And because we believe growth needs more than roots, we showed up with Project Gyan, delivering sports materials too. Education. Nature. Play. All in one day.
This is what impact looks like when it's built with community, not just for it.

हामी रूख रोप्न गएका थिएनौं, हामी केही छोड्न गएका थियौं।

Youth for Good, श्री बिटेश आधारभूत विद्यालयमा पुग्यो, साथमा लिएर चिउरीको बिरुवा। चेपाङ समुदायका लागि चिउरी सिर्फ रूख होइन, यो उनीहरूको जीवन हो, पहिचान हो, पुस्तौंदेखि चलिआएको साथी हो।
केही बिरुवाहरू विद्यालय परिसरमै रोपियो। अनि केही, केही बिरुवाहरू चेपाङ युवाहरूको हातमा थमाइयो, आफ्नै वरिपरि आफ्नै हातले रोप्नका लागि। किनभने जब रूख आफ्नै हातले हुर्काइन्छ, त्यसप्रतिको माया र जिम्मेवारी दुवै जन्मन्छ।

अनि यत्तिमै रोकिएनौं। Project Gyan अन्तर्गत खेलकुद सामग्री पनि पुर्‍याइयो, किनभने बच्चाको विकास किताबमा मात्र हुँदैन, मैदानमा पनि हुन्छ।

हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली तथा शोक संवेदना 💐

युथ फर गुड नेपाल (Youth for Good Nepal) का सह-संस्थापक तथा हाम्रा अत्यन्तै आत्मीय मित्र बाबिन शंकरका पुजनीय बुबा, आदरणीय बालकृष्ण शंकर ज्यूको असामयिक निधनको खबरले हामी सम्पूर्ण संस्थागत परिवारलाई मर्माहत तुल्याएको छ।

उहाँ एक यस्तो प्रेरणादायी व्यक्तित्व हुनुहुन्थ्यो, जसको अथक परिश्रम, निस्वार्थ सहयोगी भावना र सधैं अरूको भलो चाहने उच्च विचारले हामी धेरैलाई प्रभावित पारेको थियो। उहाँको सादगी, इमान्दारिता र कर्मठपन हाम्रा लागि सधैं एउटा आदर्श मार्गनिर्देशन बन्नेछ। हामीले एक असल अभिभावक मात्र होइन, समाजका लागि एक निष्कलंक र मार्गदर्शन दिन सक्ने व्यक्तित्व पनि गुमाएका छौँ।

यस अपूरणीय क्षतिको घडीमा दिवंगत पुण्य आत्माको चिरशान्तिको कामना गर्दै बैकुण्ठवासको हार्दिक प्रार्थना गर्दछौँ। साथै, शोकमा डुब्नुभएका हाम्रा सह-संस्थापक मित्र बाबिन शंकर र उहाँको सम्पूर्ण परिवारजनमा यो अकल्पनीय पीडा र वज्रपात सहने शक्ति मिलोस् भनी भगवानसँग प्रार्थना गर्दछौँ।

They say youth are the leaders of tomorrow, but in 2025, we proved that we are the architects of today. 🇳🇵🇺🇳
As this year comes to a close, we’re looking back at a journey that took us from the grassroots of our communities to the highest halls of global diplomacy. This wasn’t just a year of meetings; it was a year of measurable, life-changing impact.

We started with a mission to build resilience where it matters most, at home. Through our Disaster Training and Retrofitting Workshops, we didn't just share knowledge; we successfully equipped over 500 individuals with the practical skills to protect their families and their futures. We proved that a safer Nepal starts with an empowered community. 🛠️💪

But our vision didn’t stop at our borders. We took the energy of Nepal’s youth to the global stage, representing our nation at the UNESCAP 81st Commission. There, we didn’t just occupy a seat, we advocated for a seat at every table. We championed the idea that youth participation isn’t a "favor" to the next generation, but a necessity for global survival. 🌍

From mobilizing environmental action at the local level to hosting our Youth Resilience Dialogues, we have stayed consistent in our message: Youth are not just observers of the climate crisis; we are the solution. 🌿

And who could forget the heart of our movement? Through our Tihar fundraising efforts, we blended culture with a cause, proving that our traditions can be the engine for social change. It’s this unique mix of cultural pride and professional advocacy that makes our organization what it is today. 🪔✨

To every volunteer, every partner, and every individual who joined a workshop or shared our vision: This impact is yours. We have built the foundation. We have mobilized the grassroots. We have raised our voices at the UN. Now, as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, there is only one thing left to say:

2026: Be ready. We’re just getting started.
