At Gandaki NEPCON 2026 in Pokhara (April 10–11), our Founder & Chairperson, Ms.Pragya Shrestha Pradhan, BCBA, represented Avaani Foundation and delivered presentation on “Autism in Nepal: Improving Intervention, Behavior Analysis and Family Support.” She shared valuable insights on autism with a professional group of pediatricians, helping to strengthen the path toward early identification and better support for children with autism.

Every conversation brings us one step closer to early support and inclusion for every child—creating a more compassionate and inclusive world to live in.

Event 3: Movie Screening for our Special Stars

Creating joyful moments and new experiences

Avaani Foundation proudly organized a special movie screening of “The Super Mario Galaxy” for our wonderful children with autism at QFX Cinemas, Chhaya Center, Thamel on 9th April 2026.
This initiative helps them explore new environments, build comfort in social settings, and enjoy a fun-filled day at the cinema.

Every child deserves to experience the magic of the big screen

Celebrating Autism Awareness Month 2026

Event 2: Interactive Session with Future Leaders at Thames International College

A successful interactive session on “Cognitive Framework and Career Scope in Autism” was conducted today at Thames International College, led by our Founder, Chairperson Shrestha Pradhan.

The session aimed to encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of autism, its cognitive perspectives, and to shed light on the growing career opportunities in the field of autism.

On April 2nd, Avaani foundation celebrated World Autism Awareness Day 2026 with a vibrant street play, along with dance and musical performances to spread awareness about autism and foster understanding. Through songs, storytelling, and performances, we shared meaningful insights about autistic children with the community. It was truly worthwhile, ending on a beautiful note with a heartfelt candlelight session.
