A meaningful and inspiring discussion on “Women for Women” was successfully organized by the Ladies of Liberty Alliance Kathmandu Chapter. The event became a beautiful space where women came together to share experiences, uplift one another, and discuss the importance of freedom, leadership, confidence, and solidarity among women. Every voice carried strength, courage, and the spirit of change.

The discussion highlighted how empowering women is not just about giving opportunities, but also about creating spaces where women feel heard, valued, and supported. From sharing personal journeys to exchanging ideas on liberty, equality, and self-growth, the session reflected the power of women standing beside women. It reminded everyone that true progress begins when women encourage each other to rise without fear and without limits.

On 15th of November, LOLA Chapter Biratnagar organized a focused program at Landmark Education, Biratnagar, to promote women's participation in economic development. Seventeen women actively engaged in discussions that explored the roles, challenges, and opportunities for women in shaping the region’s economic future. The session created a space for sharing ideas, experiences, and strategies to strengthen women’s involvement in economic activities.

The program also featured case studies from Koshi Province, which provided practical insights into successful local initiatives led by women. These examples sparked meaningful dialogue and inspired participants to consider replicable models in their own communities. In conclusion, the event served as a valuable platform for empowerment, learning, and collaboration reinforcing the importance of women’s leadership in driving inclusive economic growth.

On November 29, the Kathmandu chapter of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) Nepal, led by Nepal Chapter Leader Prasidika Dhungana, hosted a powerful and inspiring discussion on Women as Leaders of Liberty Movement. The event brought together passionate voices to explore the recent Gen Z movement in Nepal, examining its impact on society, politics, and the philosophy of classical liberalism. Attendees engaged deeply on how the younger generation is challenging norms, demanding autonomy, and contributing to a vision of a freer, more open society.

The conversation also celebrated a historic milestone with the rise of Nepal’s first female Prime Minister, highlighting the transformative power of women in leadership and the growing presence of female voices in public life. The event beautifully illustrated that liberty is strengthened when women lead, when their ideas shape policies, movements, and social change. From inspiring dialogue to real-world examples of leadership, this gathering reminded everyone that the future of freedom in Nepal is being shaped by courageous, innovative, and visionary women.

On June 21, 2025, amid rising political unrest and public confusion, Ladies of Liberty Alliance Nepal in collaboration with Students For Liberty - Nepal hosted a powerful panel discussion titled:

“Democracy and Monarchy: Learning the Pros and Cons of Both” at Nepal Law Campus, with the support of our Nepal Chapter Leader Prasidika Dhungana and Member Nitisha Giri.

With over 150+ passionate participants, the event became a space for courageous conversations, balanced perspectives, and youth-led engagement.

📍Event Update | Inauguration of LOLA Dang Chapter – A New Milestone for Women’s Leadership.

We are proud to announce the successful inauguration of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) Dang Chapter, marking a powerful step forward in expanding our mission to empower women leaders across Nepal.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Laxmi Yogi, Deputy Mayor of Lamahi Municipality; Dwarika Adhikari, Member of the National Human Rights Commission from Lumbini Province; Roshan Pandey, Inspector of Lamahi; and Lila Shah, Member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists. Each of them congratulated the newly launched chapter and expressed their commitment to supporting its future initiatives.

The event began with a presentation on LOLA's mission and vision, emphasizing the importance of liberty, leadership, and women’s empowerment. At the conclusion, LOLA Nepal Chapter Leader, Prasidika Dhungana , delivered a heartfelt thank-you speech, expressing gratitude to all supporters and wishing the Dang team great success ahead.

On 22nd May, we hosted Chiya Charcha: Freedom in Every Sip ☕✨ —an inspiring and intimate gathering where liberty met everyday life over warm tea cups, delicious snacks, and meaningful conversation.

The event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Mayor and several inspiring women leaders from diverse backgrounds who shared their powerful stories of courage, resilience, and the fight for freedom in their personal and professional journeys. Their words sparked deep conversations about individual liberty, women’s empowerment, and the power of personal choice.

This tea talk wasn't just about ideas—it was about impact. Participants left not only with full hearts but also with a renewed sense of purpose, community, and commitment to liberty in action.
