Congratulations to Siddhartha Sapkota, the 1st Place winner of Test Cup Nepal 2026! 🇳🇵

As part of the recognition for his achievement, Siddhartha has received a CTFL examination voucher, generously provided by GASQ together with the Test Cup Organizing Committee.

We hope this becomes another step in an already exciting testing journey, and we can’t wait to see where it takes you next.

A heartfelt thank you to GASQ for supporting Nepal’s first-ever Test Cup and for helping us create opportunities that go beyond the competition itself.

Congratulations once again, Siddhartha. You tested your skills, earned your place, and now there’s another milestone ahead. 👏

Here’s to more learning, more challenges, and more achievements to come! 🚀

At QA Connect 2026, we put everyone’s observation skills to the test with our Bug Hunt, and there was one person who clearly wasn’t letting a single bug escape.

A huge congratulations to Prashant Paudel, our Bug Hunt winner, for collecting an impressive 26 bugs! 👏

What started as a fun little challenge around the venue turned into a great reminder of something we often talk about in testing: quality starts with noticing the details.

And we loved seeing everyone get involved, create their bugs, hunt them down, and have a little fun along the way. ❤

Congratulations, Prashant, and a big thank you to everyone who joined the hunt!

Here’s to keeping our eyes sharp, our curiosity alive, and maybe... spotting a few fewer bugs in production.

𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬!

What started as a new challenge for Nepal’s testing community has now become a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

With 79 teams taking part, the competition brought together testers ready to challenge themselves, put their skills to the test, and experience something new.

And now, it’s time to celebrate our podium finishers:

🥇 1st Place | Blue Blood
Siddhartha Sapkota | 85.5 / 130

🥈 2nd Place | MysticSnow
Astha Bajracharya | 85.3 / 130

🥉 3rd Place | Pranav Joshi
83 / 130

A huge congratulations to all three! Your achievement marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long journey of testing, learning, competing, and growing. 🏆👏

And honestly, congratulations are also due to every single participant who took part. A competition is only as exciting as the people willing to step up and take the challenge, and you made the first Test Cup Nepal something worth remembering.

A very special thank you to our Test Cup co-leads, Sriya Mainali and Siddharth Shrestha, for taking this initiative forward and putting in the work behind the scenes to make Nepal’s first Test Cup happen.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to GASQ and Abbas AHMAD, Ph. D for supporting Nepal 🇳🇵 and helping make it possible for us to host the first-ever Test Cup Nepal.

And a very big thank you to Joel Oliveira and Dr. Lovelesh Beeharry, representing MSTQB® - Mauritian Software Testing Qualifications Board, our Mentor Board, for joining us virtually and being part of the special moment when we announced the winners. Having you there connected this milestone in Nepal with the wider global testing community. 🌍

This was more than a competition.

It was a chance to test, learn, compete, connect, and put Nepal’s testing community on a bigger stage.

And this is only the beginning. ❤️

Congratulations once again to our winners, and thank you to everyone who made Test Cup Nepal 2026 possible.

Some sessions give you information. The best ones give you something to think about long after they’re over.

Thank you, Er. Deepak Karn, for being part of QA Connect 2026 and for sharing your experiences, perspectives, and insights with our community.

Your session, “The Thinking Toolkit of a Software Tester,” gave us a chance to look beyond the tools and techniques of testing and think about the skills that shape how we approach our craft: observing, questioning, investigating, gathering evidence, interpreting, and making informed judgments.

And just as you mentioned, some of the best parts of an event happen beyond the presentation itself. The thoughtful questions, conversations, different perspectives, and experiences shared throughout the session made it even more meaningful.

Events like QA Connect become special because people are willing to share what they’ve learned, what they’ve experienced, and sometimes even what they’ve learned the hard way.

Thank you for doing exactly that. ❤️

It was a pleasure having you with us and we hope this is just the beginning of many more conversations with our QA community.

An event can have a great venue, a great lineup, and a carefully planned agenda. But without people willing to show up, talk, listen, share, and connect, it’s just a plan.

To everyone who joined us at QA Connect 2026, thank you.

Thank you for making the conversations happen. For staying curious. For meeting someone new. For asking questions. For sharing your experiences. For bringing your energy into the room.

Watching Nepal’s QA community come together like this was genuinely special.

A huge thank you to our QA Connect lead, Shristi Lamichhane, for all the work, coordination, and care that went into bringing this together. ❤️

And to every participant who walked through those doors, this event was for you, and because of you, it became something much more than an event.

📸 Now, for the part you’ve probably been waiting for!

We’ve put together the photos from the events. Go find yourself, your friends, your colleagues, and those moments you may not even remember happened.

Feel free to download and share your photos, and when you post them, tag NSTQB. We’d love to see your memories from the day too! ❤

These events may be over, but we’re definitely not done yet.

There’s more coming from NSTQB, more opportunities to learn, connect, compete, and grow together.

Here’s to more conversations, more connections, and more moments like this.

Thank you for being part of QA Connect 2026. 🇳🇵
