✨गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिकाभित्रका ९ वटा सामुदायिक विद्यालयहरूमा अध्ययनरत १,१०० विद्यार्थीहरूमा न्यानो कपडा वितरण गरियो।✨

बालबालिकाहरूको शिक्षा र स्वास्थ्यलाई ध्यानमा राखेर हामीले जाडो मौसममा विद्यार्थीहरूलाई अति आवश्यक पर्ने न्यानो कपडाहरू- ट्रयाक सुट, स्विटर र जुत्ताहरु वितरण गर्यौँ। सामाजिक व्यवसाय ले आफ्नै बेकरीमा बनेको स्वस्थ खाजा उपलब्ध गराइदिएर हाम्रो कार्यलाई अझ अर्थपूर्ण बनाइदियो।👩‍🍳

यस कार्यक्रमद्वारा विद्यार्थीहरूको आवश्यकता परिपूर्ति मात्र नभएर उहाँहरुलाई हौसला र थप अवसरहरु प्राप्त भएको भनी हामीलाई विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक र अभिभावकज्यूहरूले सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया पनि दिनुभएको छ।

सामुदायिक विद्यालयमा अध्ययन गर्ने बालबालिकाहरूको भविष्य सुनिश्चित गर्नका निम्ति हाम्रो यस पहलमा हामीलाई साथ दिनुहुने सम्पूर्णलाई धेरै धेरै धन्यवाद।💚

✨1,100 students from 9 community schools in Gokarneshwor Municipality received winter school uniforms✨

To support the education and health of the young students, We distributed essential winter items including tracksuits, sweaters, and shoes along with healthy snacks, provided by our social business 👩‍🍳

The program received very positive feedback from students, teachers, and parents alike - not only for meeting practical needs, but for offering encouragement and possibilities.

A heartfelt thank you to all who supported in empowering the young futures in local schools 💚

Moments from the recent Winter Clothes Distribution Programs at Shree Suntakhan Secondary School and Shree Bhim Dev Basic school 🙂🙏❄️

As winter sets in, we remain committed to sharing warmth and care with school children, aiming to reach as many as possible.

During the past week, we were able to support more than 500 students: thanks to their new school uniforms, they can continue to attend their classes with comfort - despite the cold.

Akasha Artisan Bakery supported the distribution with nutritious snacks. Because healthy food choices today help build stronger, healthier communities tomorrow. 🍌🥕

Few weeks ago we were honored to welcome guests from Bengo and BMZ to Akasha Academy Nepal.

During the visit, we shared the visions behind the Akasha Traineeship program, our regenerative Agriculture farm, and social business. Our guests toured our workspaces, met our dedicated staff, and engaged in meaningful discussions on strengthening project implementation.

The visit brought together students from all four cohorts, featuring inspiring self-defense, acrobatics, and dance performances, along with heartfelt experience-sharing from our graduates.

We are truly grateful for the insights and support from our guests. We are immensely grateful to BMZ for their financial support which enables us to offer education, empower women, promote health and protect the environment here in Nepal 💚

We look forward to collaborating further for sustainable community impact. ✨

एकताको उत्सव!
यो तिहारले सम्पूर्ण आकाशा परिवारलाई एकसाथ ल्याउने सुन्दर अवसर दिएर गयो। विभिन्न क्षेत्रहरूमा काम गरिरहनुभएका आकाशा प्रतिष्ठानका ४० भन्दा बढी स्टाफहरूले लाई विभिन्न तरिकाले योगदान दिँदै आइरहनुभएको छ। उहाँहरूको इमान्दारिता र समर्पणको सम्मानस्वरूप हामीले, सबै स्टाफहरूप्रति हृदयबाटै कृतज्ञता व्यक्त गर्दै कदर पत्रहरू वितरण गर्यौँ । यस अवसरलाई अझ विशेष बनाउन हामीले गाईसँगै जनावरहरूको पूजा गरी मिठो सेल रोटी खाँदै, सबैसँग देउसी भैलो खेलेर तिहार मनायौँ। हामीले सो दिनलाई हाँसो, संस्कृति र एकताले भरिएको - एक उत्सव जसरी मनायौँ, जसले हामीबीचको सम्बन्धलाई अझ बलियो बनाई मिठा यादहरू दिएर गएको छ।
Celebration of Togetherness!
A throwback to Tihar, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to bring the Akasha family together. With over 40 amazing team members working in different areas, each of them has contributed wholeheartedly to achieving the vision of .
This Tihar, we distributed certificates of recognition to all staff members as a way to express our gratitude for their honesty and dedication over time.
To make the occasion even more special, we celebrated Tihar with our team and guests by playing Deusi and Bhailo, enjoying delicious sel roti, and honoring the animals on our farm. It was a day filled with laughter, culture, and togetherness - a celebration that strengthened our bonds and created memories to cherish forever.

र हाम्रा केही पाहुनासँग अविस्मरणीय यात्रा🌿
हालैमा हामीले जगडोल हुँदै तारेभिरबाट सुन्ताखानको आकाशा प्रतिष्ठानसम्म: पद यात्रा गरी ANSAB सँग सहकार्यको हात अघि बढायौँ। छलफल र नयाँ विचारहरूलाई समर्थन गर्दै हाम्रो समूहले प्रकृतिमा रमाउने अवसर पायो। 🌿 भविष्यका सम्भावनाहरूको परिकल्पना गर्दै ताजा हावा र खुल्ला वातावरणमा भएको यो सहकार्य प्रेरणादायी बन्न पनि सफल भयो।

Recently we took our collaboration outdoors! From Jagdol via Tarevir to Akasha Academy in Suntakhan: the team and guests enjoyed a day in nature filled with discussions and new ideas. 🌿

Many thanks to and Sunita ma’am for the refreshments that fueled our journey and made sure not only our mind but our tummy was also happy😊🍎
It was the perfect mix of teamwork, fresh air, and inspiration for the future collaborations and possibilities.

यौन तथा प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य र अधिकार सम्बन्धी तालिमद्वारा शिक्षकहरूलाई सशक्तिकरण! 🌸

आकाशा प्रतिष्ठान र GAN अनुसन्धान र शिक्षण केन्द्रको सहकार्यमा आधारभूत तहका विद्यालय शिक्षक र विद्यालय नर्सका लागि यौन तथा प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य तथा अधिकार (SRHR) सम्बन्धी ३ दिने आवासीय तालिम सञ्चालन गरियो ।
तालिममा प्रशिक्षक श्रीकृष्ण वेञ्जुज्यू र माधवी गौतम घिमिरेज्यूको नेतृत्वमा निम्न विषयहरू समावेश गरिएको थियो:
🔹 SRHR सम्बन्धी नीतिहरू र अधिकारहरू
🔹 रजस्वला र महिला शरीरमाथि भइरहेको राजनिति
🔹 लैङ्गिक समावेशी र बालमैत्री शिक्षा
🔹 विद्यालय, परिवार र समुदायको भूमिका
गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिका अन्तर्गतका १५ वटा विद्यालयबाट जम्मा हुनुभएका २४ जना सहभागीहरूले तालिमद्वारा आ-आफ्नो अनुभव साटासाट गर्ने र एकअर्काबाट धेरै कुराहरू सिक्ने मौका पाउनुभयो । सहभागीहरूले महत्त्वपूर्ण ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्दै SRHR को लागि आफ्नो प्रतिबद्धता पनि जनाउनुभयो। साथसाथै हामीले उहाँहरूबीच गहिरो सम्बन्ध स्थापना भएको पनि महसुस गर्यौँ ।
तालिममा सहभागी सम्पूर्ण सहभागी नर्स र शिक्षकज्यूहरू एवम् यो साझेदारीलाई सफल बनाउन अहम् भूमिका खेल्नुहुने सम्पूर्ण टिमलाई धेरै धेरै धन्यवाद! 💛

Empowering Educators on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights 🌸

Akasha Academy, in partnership with GAN Research and Learning Centre, held a 3-day residential training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for Basic Level school teachers and nurses in August.

Led by Shree Krishna Wenju and Madhavi Gautam Ghimire, the training explored:

🔹 SRHR policies & rights
🔹 Menstruation & body politics
🔹 Role of schools, families & communities
🔹 Gender-inclusive, child-friendly education

With creativity and collaboration, educators from 15 schools of Gokarneshwor Municipality came together to share their experiences and learn from each other.

Participants gained a deeper understanding, established strong connections, and renewed their commitment to SRHR education.

A big thanks to all those who joined, and to GAN Research and Learning Centre for this incredible partnership! 💛

🚑 गत हप्ता, हामीले नेपाल रेड क्रस सोसाइटीसँगको सहकार्यमा आकाशा ट्रनिशिपका स्टाफ र विद्यार्थीहरूका लागि ४ दिने आधारभूत प्राथमिक उपचार तालिम उपलब्ध गराएका थियौँ।
सहभागीहरुले आपत्कालीन स्थितिमा घाइतेको ज्यान बचाउने विधिहरु सिक्नुभयो। साथसाथै, चिकित्सक टिमलाई खबर गर्ने र प्राथमिक उपचार गर्ने क्रममा समन्वय गर्नु र छिटो सोच्नुको महत्वबारे सैद्धान्तिक रूपले र अभ्यास गरेरै पनि बुझ्नुभयो। 🧠⏱️
तालिमको अन्त्यमा, सबै सहभागीहरुले ३ वर्ष मान्यता रहने प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त गर्नुभयो, जुन एउटा गर्वको कुरा हुनुका साथै उँहाहरूको लागि अमूल्य सम्पत्ति पनि हो। 👏
सबैलाई बधाई छ! आशा गर्छौँ यी सिपहरु आवश्यक परेको समयमा हजुरहरूको काम आउने छन्। 💪❤️

🚑 Last week, we teamed up with the Nepal Red Cross Society to offer 4 days of basic first aid training for our Akasha Traineeship students and trainers.
From theory to practice: Participants not just learnt life-saving techniques, but also how important coordination and quick thinking are - be it while providing first aid, alerting the medical team or obtaining consent. 🧠⏱️
Upon completion of the training, everyone got a certificate valid for 3 years - a proud moment and a real asset for their future roles. 👏
Congrats to all! May these skills serve you well when it matters most! 💪❤️

The students have passed their final exams and are now ready to start their internships. 💼✨

Over the past 9 months, they have gained valuable knowledge in:
– English – Hygiene and sanitation – Nutrition – Mental health – Common diseases & health issues, treatment and prevention – Female health – Environment and sustainability
The traineeship included many practical experiences like field visits, self-defense training, acrobatics, art classes, basic computer skills, agriculture workshops, and basic first aid. 💻🧑‍🌾🎨

They also actively engaged in the community through nutrition exhibitions, health camps, drama performances, tree planting programs, and a film festival.

We’re confident that their internships will add incredible value to their personal and professional journeys. Congratulations and best wishes to our amazing students!

हाम्रा विद्यार्थीहरू आकाशा ट्रेनीशिपको अन्तिम परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण गरिसकेर अब इन्टर्नशिप सुरु गर्न तयार हुनुहुन्छ। 💼✨
विगत ९ महिनामा, उहाँहरूले निम्न विषयहरूको ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्नुभएको छः
– अङ्ग्रेजी – स्वच्छता र सरसफाइ – पोषण – मानसिक स्वास्थ्य – सामान्य रोग तथा स्वास्थ्य समस्याहरु, तिनीहरुको रोकथाम र उपचार – महिला स्वास्थ्य – वातावरण र दिगोपना
आकाशा ट्रेनीशिप अन्तर्गत उहा‌ँहरूले शैक्षिक भ्रमण, आत्मरक्षा तालिम, एक्रोबेटिक्स, चित्रकला, आधारभूत कम्प्युटर सिप, कृषि कार्यशाला र आधारभूत प्राथमिक उपचारजस्ता विषयहरुमा व्यवहारिक अनुभव पनि प्राप्त गर्नुभएको छ।
उहा‌ँहरू पोषण प्रदर्शनी, स्वास्थ्य शिविर, थिएटर नाटक, वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम र चलचित्र महोत्सवका माध्यमबाट समुदायमा पनि सक्रिय रूपले संलग्न हुनुभएको छ।
इन्टर्नशिपले उहा‌ँहरूको व्यक्तिगत र करियर निर्माणको यात्रामा महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्ने छ भन्ने कुरामा हामी निर्धक्क छौँ। हाम्रो तर्फबाट विद्यार्थीहरूलाई बधाई एवम् शुभकामना!
