Legally registered since 2011 as a NOT FOR PROFIT SHARING COMPANY in the Office of Company Registrar under the Nepal Government, Ministry of Industry, “Together for Human & Environment in Nepal” we say “THE-Nepal”, works to redefine Social Security. Social Security addresses overall well-being of environment and human security to ensure sustainable and prosperous community. Hence, it works on the
identification of prevailing issues with aim of diminishing it, in order to bring up zero tolerance policy and sustainable equitized society. THE-Nepal aims to deliver work in different issues through Information Technologies and Digital Media Services that also includes Documentaries, Films and other varieties of e-Learning Forum. It also runs and supports impactful social mobilization and awareness activities including research, advocacy and campaigns that have potential to strengthen the social and environmental status right from the micro level in order to create better civilization. Since its inception, it has led many Research, Campaigns and Projects addressing the issues of Environment & Human Security with major activities focused on Climate Change, Migration, Education, Disaster and Digital Awareness. All the projects may have different work approach, but all has one core value i.e. “addressing the issues of Human & Environment at any level to ensure their security.”
Since it's inception it focused on 3 CORE VALUES : -
1. BASIC FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS
(Education, Employment, Health & Nutrition are must to all generation of people as per their need which is basics for happy citizens.),
2. SOCIAL NORMS & PUBLIC POLICY
(Public Policy Influences Social Norms and morals which helps to eradicate conflict between any individual level to state level.) INTERACTION BETWEEN HUMAN & NATURE
(Dealing with environment security by ensuring the human security and vice versa can help manage any form of disasters.) AS PER OUR DECLARATION IN DIFFERENT CLAUSE INCLUDED IN OUR REGISTERED MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION (MOA) WE HAVE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE ABOVE GOALS:
• To run activities including the identification of different environmental and human induced problems that exists in current society.
• To undertake media activities like photography, video, film, documentaries, radio and television programs, websites and magazine related to human and environment for entertainment and awareness purpose.
• To carry out consultancy services of the computer software like, website and related work, data work such as financial and statistics, related to human and environment issues.
• To create a trusty, the solely works on benefit of society, community and environment, by organizing social welfare, services and charities.
• To promote activities like research, surveys and analysis regarding health, environment, Market services, social sciences (law, sociology economics) to know the context of human and environment.
