Socio-Economic Welfare Centre For Energetic Women(EWC) also known as Utsahi Mahila is a non-profit, self-sustaining & non-governmental organization (NGO) established with aim to support deprived women from the society. Though only few of them are involved in development works, it doesn't represent as a whole. With recognition of this reality of women and to provide resources, support and encourage

them, "Socio Economic Welfare Center for Energetic Women", a non-profitable self-sustaining non-governmental organization was established in 5th Jestha 2055 B.S. Vision:
Conduct the skill based, occupation based and knowledge based programs for the socially and economically deprived women and to create the environment for their self-respect and self reliant on finances on the basis of their need. Objectives:
 Conduct the literacy, awareness and knowledge-based program for member women who are in miserable condition.

 Uplift the economic condition of women and her family through skill development, income generating activities, investment and saving credit program.

 Provide advocacy and encourage the women in need of support and help.

 Conduct programs related to health, hygiene and environmental awareness for women and children. Energetic Women Income Generating Program

4. Energetic Women Empowerment Program
5. Energetic Women Clothes Collection and distribution Program
6. Energetic Women Emergency Fund Program
7. Sponsorship Program supported by Canhelp, Australia

Membership:
Anyone who is genuinely interested in the objectives and programs of the center and wishes to be part of it, there is a place for enthusiastic women at the center to become a member. For the general membership, one should pay NRs. 100 and fill the form. However, center will decide about the conditions regarding membership. Since from the established date, the center has 2000 members and has been conducting various programs.
