यसमा सामान्यतया यी विषयहरू समावेश हुन्छन्:

क्यान्सरका जोखिम कारकहरू (जस्तै धूम्रपान, मदिरा, अस्वस्थ जीवनशैली, केही संक्रमणहरू)
क्यान्सरका प्रारम्भिक लक्षणहरू
क्यान्सर रोकथामका उपायहरू
स्क्रिनिङ र नियमित स्वास्थ्य जाँचको महत्त्व
उपचारका विकल्पहरू (शल्यक्रिया, केमोथेरापी, रेडियोथेरापी आदि)
क्यान्सर भएका व्यक्तिहरू र परिवारलाई आवश्यक सहयोग
क्यान्सर शिक्षाको मुख्य उद्देश्य:
क्यान्सरको जोखिम कम गर्नु।
रोगलाई प्रारम्भिक चरणमै पहिचान गर्न मद्दत गर्नु।
उपचार र हेरचाहबारे सही जानकारी दिनु।
क्यान्सरसम्बन्धी भ्रम र गलत धारणाहरू हटाउनु।
उदाहरणका लागि, विद्यालय, अस्पताल, स्वास्थ्य संस्था, वा समुदायमा हुने सचेतना कार्यक्रमहरू Cancer Education अन्तर्गत पर्छन्।
