From 40 to 500 kg: The Sucess Story of Gautam Mahila Samuha
We’re excited to share the inspiring journey of Gautam Mahila Samuha! With support from WATCH, this amazing group of women cultivated turmeric on half a kathha of land, starting with just 40 kg of seeds, and harvested an incredible 500 kg of turmeric!

Encouraged by their success, they are now planning to plant turmeric collectively again and market their produce to Tinau Krishi Upaj Kendra, creating new opportunities for income and sustainability.
This achievement proves that when women come together with determination and support, they can drive economic change even with small resources. Here's to more harvests and more successes ahead! 🌱💪

🌱 Climate-Smart Agriculture & Livelihood Improvement 🌱
At our Learning and Demonstration Plot in Bangali, Devdah Municipality, Rupandehi, we’re combining innovative farming practices with sustainable methods to enhance productivity and resilience.
Broiler Chicken Farming:
To diversify livelihoods and promote food security, we’ve also initiated broiler chicken farming, providing practical learning opportunities for the community. 🐔
These initiatives aim to empower local farmers with hands-on knowledge to adopt sustainable practices that address climate challenges and ensure economic growth. Together, we’re paving the way for a resilient and prosperous future. 💚✨

Promoting Climate Smart Practices : Mulching for Tomato and Cauliflower

At our Learning and Demonstration Plot in Bangali, Devdah Municipality Rupandehi, we have adopted mulching as a sustainable and climate smart agricultural practice 🌍✨.
Mulching involves covering the soil with organic or inorganic materials to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil health. For our tomato and cauliflower crops, this method has been a game-changer, helping us:
✅ Reduce water usage 💧
✅ Minimize soil erosion 🌾
✅ Improve crop yield 🍅🌸
✅ Adapt to changing climate conditions 🌦️

We’re excited to share these practices with local farmers and inspire more sustainable agriculture in our community. Together, we can build resilient farming systems that protect our environment and ensure food security. 💚

🌱 लालीगुराँस महिला समूहसँग कम्पोस्ट निर्माणको अभ्यास 🌱

हामीले हालै तिनाउ–२, लालीगुराँस महिला समूह का सदस्यहरूसँग कम्पोस्ट मल निर्माण सम्बन्धी प्रशिक्षण सम्पन्न गर्यौं। 🌾✨

यस प्रशिक्षणले जैविक मल उत्पादन गर्ने सीप प्रदान गरी घरेलु फोहरलाई पुन: प्रयोगमा ल्याउने र माटोको स्वास्थ्य सुधार्ने दिगो उपाय सिकायो। 🌿
कम्पोस्ट मलले:
✅ रासायनिक मलको आवश्यकता घटाउँछ।
✅ स्वस्थ र उर्वर माटो तयार गर्न सहयोग पुर्‍याउँछ।
✅ स्थानीय स्तरमै जैविक उत्पादनको प्रवर्द्धन गर्छ।

महिलाहरूको यस्तो सक्रिय सहभागिताले दिगो कृषि अभ्यासलाई बलियो बनाउँदै जलवायु-मैत्री भविष्यको निर्माणमा टेवा पुर्‍याउँदैछ। 💪
