Fueling Ambition, Breaking Barriers: Educational Support 2026
Education is more than just textbooks and classrooms: it’s independence, dignity, and the power to shape one's own future. Yet for disabled students navigating systemic barriers, staying in school can feel like an uphill battle.
Today, Rainbow Disability Nepal (RDN) is proud to announce that we are officially providing full educational support for this academic year to two extraordinary young scholars: with Rainbow Railroad
Earth Company n American Himalayan Foundation
Suraj Deula (He): A resilient q***r student living with a physical disability. Suraj continues to break down intersectional barriers, proving that identity and disability should never stand in the way of academic excellence, achieving good remarks on his higher secondary education.
Soni Thapa (She/Her): A determined young q***r woman living with a physical disability whose drive to pursue higher education and build economic self-reliance inspires everyone around her.
As full-time students facing tough economic circumstances, financial stress threatened to put their studies on hold. Through RDN’s Educational Assistance Project, we are covering their educational fees, essential learning materials, and needed educational costs for the year, ensuring they can focus entirely on what matters most: learning and thriving.
This milestone isn't just ours, it belongs to every ally, donor, and advocate who believes in equal access to education. Thank you for standing alongside us as we invest in the leaders of tomorrow.
