We recently (on April 18) sat down with members of the Community Forest User Group (CFUG) to dive deep into the realities of habitat restoration. From discussing the personal challenges they face to identifying the real hurdles of forest protection, the dialogue was honest and eye-opening.
More importantly, we didn’t just talk we strategized. With a shared vision and a concrete plan in place, the community is ready and committed to protecting our forest lands. we appreciate the energy of Women's Participants, they wonderfully shared their opinion regarding the crosscutting issues of restoration along with livelihood alternatives.

लेडी बर्ड बीटल (पाँचथोप्ले खपटे किरा) कृषिमा अत्यन्तै लाभदायक मित्र कीरा हो, जसले बालीमा लाग्ने लाहि किरा /एफिड जस्ता हानिकारक कीराहरूलाई जैविक रूपमा नियन्त्रण गर्न महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्छ। एक वयस्क लेडी बर्ड बीटलले प्रतिदिन करिब १०० वटा लाहि किरा / एफिड खान सक्छ, जसले प्राकृतिक रूपमा यस्ता कीराहरु नियन्त्रण गरी बाली उत्पादन सुरक्षित बनाउन मद्दत गर्दछ। तर किसानहरूमा सीमित सचेतना र रासायनिक विषादीको अत्यधिक प्रयोगका कारण यसको प्राकृतिक जनसंख्या घट्दै गएको छ। दिगो कृषि प्रणालीको विकासका लागि यस्ता लाभदायक कीराहरूको संरक्षण गर्दै प्राकृतिक कीरा व्यवस्थापनलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्नु आजको आवश्यकता हो।
