Congratulations to Dr. Ngima Doma Sherpa
On my own behalf and on behalf of the Mountaineering Rescue Training Foundation of Nepal (MRTFN), I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ngima Doma Sherpa on the successful completion of her PhD degree from Harvard University.
As the first woman from Thamichho Village to earn a PhD degree, Dr. Ngima Doma Sherpa has set an inspiring example for future generations through her dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. Her remarkable achievement is a source of great pride for her family, community, and the nation.
MRTFN would also like to express its sincere gratitude to Ken Noguchi, Chairman of Peak Aid Japan, for his generous financial support toward Dr. Ngima Doma Sherpa’s education from primary school through Grade 12. This support played an important role in helping her pursue her academic aspirations.
We are immensely proud of Dr. Ngima Doma Sherpa’s achievement and wish her continued success, fulfillment, and many more accomplishments in her future endeavors.
