No woman should have to risk her health simply because healthcare is far from home.

To bring life-saving services closer to rural communities, BBP Pariwar organized a two-day cervical cancer screening camp with support from Helambu Rural Municipality and technical assistance from the Nepal Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation. Through VIA and HPV testing, 352 women received cervical cancer screening, reproductive health consultations, counseling, treatment support, and breast cancer awareness services.

What makes this effort especially meaningful is that women who attended previous screening camps are now encouraging their friends, neighbors, and family members to get tested. As awareness grows, more women are taking charge of their health, seeking early diagnosis, and accessing treatment before it is too late.

For women who require further care, BBP Pariwar will continue to support them through referrals and treatment services, ensuring that no woman has to face this journey alone.

Every woman screened is a step toward a healthier family, a stronger community, and a future where preventable diseases no longer go undetected.

This artwork reflects two possible futures-one side filled with greenery, harmony, and life; the other marked by deforestation, pollution, and environmental destruction.
The message is simple: if we destroy nature, we ultimately destroy ourselves.

The choice is ours. Let us be wise, protect our forests, conserve our soil, and live in harmony with nature.

🌱 Women and Youth Advancing Agroecology

In Helambu–7, the Ganga Swasthya Aama Women Farmers’ Group, with support from our partner organization BBP Pariwar, has established a natural farming demonstration plot.
Four types of seeds - bitter gourd, cucumber, and beans are being tested. Jholmal, jeevamrit, ghanjeevamrit, and Trichoderma are being used as fertilizers, while organic pesticides and cow urine are being used to control pests and diseases.
Women members are divided into four groups and are actively involved in plot management 👩‍🌾
An agriculture student is supporting the plot as an intern/technician 👨‍🎓
Farmer-led practices, radish and coriander as border crops, collective farming, and mixed cropping of maize, rajma, and soybean are also being tested on about 1.5 ropani 🌽🌿
A strong practice of natural farming driven by local knowledge and women’s leadership.

🌱 महिला र युवा प्राकृतिक खेतीमा अगाडि बढ्दै

हेलम्बु–७ स्थित गंगा स्वास्थ्य आमा महिला कृषक समूहमा हाम्रो साझेदार संस्था बीबीपी परिवारले प्राकृतिक खेती प्रदर्शनी प्लट स्थापना गरेको छ।
करेला, काँक्रो र सिमी गरी चार प्रकारका बिउहरू परीक्षण गरिँदैछन्। झोलमल, जीवामृत, घनजीवामृत र ट्राइकोडर्मा मलको रूपमा प्रयोग गरिँदैछ भने जैविक विषादी, फलामस्त्र चिया मल र गहुत प्रयोग गरी किरा र रोग नियन्त्रण गरिँदैछ।
महिला सदस्यहरू चार समूहमा विभाजन भई रेखदेखमा संलग्न छन् 👩‍🌾
एक कृषि विद्यार्थी इन्टर्न/प्राविधिकको रूपमा सहयोग गर्दैछन् 👨‍🎓
किसानको आफ्नै विधि, मुला–धनिया बोर्डर बाली, सामूहिक खेती र करिब डेढ रोपनी क्षेत्रमा मकै–राजमा–भटमास मिश्रित बाली पनि परीक्षणमा छन् 🌽🌿
स्थानीय ज्ञान, महिला नेतृत्व र प्राकृतिक खेतीको सशक्त अभ्यास।

Women farmers from Sarlahi are showcasing local seeds and bio-inputs at a community fair in Lalbandi.
From preparing bio-inputs to explaining their benefits, women are leading knowledge sharing and strengthening agroecological practices within their communities.

सर्लाहीका महिला किसानहरू लालबन्दीमा आयोजित सामुदायिक मेलामा स्थानीय बीउ र जैविक मल–उपकरण प्रदर्शन गर्दै छन्।
जैविक मल तयार गर्नेदेखि यसको फाइदाहरू बुझाउनेसम्म, महिलाहरू आफ्ना समुदायभित्र ज्ञान बाँडफाँड गर्दै र कृषिमा जैविक अभ्यासहरू सुदृढ पार्दै अगाडि बढिरहेका छन्।
