A proud moment for the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers as its Board of Directors was formally installed during the 5th Installation Ceremony on 24 July 2026.

District Governor Rtn. Vishnu B. Karkee presented the Rotary pins, while President Rtn. Aarati Rana Rana administered the oath.

United in purpose and strengthened by experience, this capable Board is ready to lead the Club’s ambitious goals for the year ahead to create lasting impact

Twelve new members and one Honorary Member were formally inducted into the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers during its 5th Installation Ceremony on 24 July 2026.

District Governor Rtn. Vishnu B. Karkee welcomed them into the Rotary family by presenting the Rotary pins accompanied by President Rtn Aarati Rana , while Assistant Governor Rtn.
Paras Sjb Rana administered the oath.

It was a proud moment for the Club as we welcomed accomplished individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, including four women and two former Rotaractors beginning their journey as Rotarians.

Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers organised a Miyawaki Tree Plantation at Balkumari Hill Park, with the Jane Goodall Institute Nepal as the implementing partner. We planted 300 native saplings, building on the success of last year’s Hattiban Pocket Forest, which achieved a 99% survival rate.

Past President Rtn. Pyar Jung Thapa, former Chief of the Nepalese Army, visited Matrika Eye Center along with his spouse, Chair of Club Administration Rtn. Kamala Thapa , to observe the free cataract surgery camp. For many, cataract surgery remains out of reach due to financial constraints. This initiative is supported by the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers in partnership with Arya PharmaLab Pvt. LTD. 60 underprivileged patients regained not just their sight, but their independence.
