Waste companies must follow daily schedules and a pay-on-worked-only system.

🚨 𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐡𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 🚨

The sacred Boudha Stupa area is facing serious safety and public infrastructure problems that affect everyone — residents, students, pilgrims, tourists, and elderly visitors.

🔴 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐡𝐚:
✅Continuous water leakage on the main street has damaged pavements, pushing down blocks and making walking unsafe.

✅Handicapped people, children, and elderly are struggling to move safely.

✅Unmanaged hanging wires around the Stupa pose dangers and spoil the dignity of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

✅Traffic congestion and speeding in Dharatole and Fulbari areas are unsafe for pedestrians.

✅Irregular waste management and no fixed schedule for garbage collection are causing unhygienic conditions.

👉 Boudha is not only our home but a spiritual and cultural center for the whole world. We demand urgent action from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward 6, and Boudhanath Concerned.
✅ Repair damaged streets and drainage
✅ Manage and remove unsafe wires
✅ Control traffic & ensure pedestrian safety
✅ Publish a written garbage collection schedule & enforce daily clean-up

📢 This issue affects all of us — locals, students, and international visitors. Let’s raise our voices together to protect Boudha’s dignity and ensure it remains safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.

After six months of dedicated daily cleaning efforts and public awareness activities, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 successfully concluded its 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 with a formal closing ceremony held at 𝗔𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗵𝗮.

The program brought together community members, donors, volunteers, and well-wishers to celebrate a shared commitment to environmental responsibility around the 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮. 🌱
