Hello everyone! We are glad to announce that we are having a session with Gagan Thapa (General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, a member of the House of Representatives and has always been at the forefront of public policy reforms in Nepal) on August 6, 2022, Saturday at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) from 11 AM, along with other panelists - who we are excited to declare in the upcoming days!

Gagan Thapa's achievements and contributions:

1. World Economic Forum graduate class of Young Global Leaders (2015)
2. Former health minister(August 2016 to July 2017)
3. Led the effort in the ministry to draft the Health Insurance Act (2017) and lobbied the parliament to pass it into law, which includes an individual mandate with government subsidies for premiums for people unable to pay.
4. Led a 7-year Integrated Health Infrastructure Plan that provides new funding to upgrade and modernize Nepal’s health system in three key areas: human resources, infrastructure, and equipment.
