Spotlight on former HCW student and recent graduate, Palabi Majhi. A brilliant journey of success from significant challenge:
“My journey at Heartland Academy Centre for Women has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From the very beginning, I was honored to receive a full scholarship, which motivated me to work even harder and make the most of every opportunity.
Every day, I traveled nearly 20 kilometers to college and another 20 kilometers back home. Although the daily commute was challenging, especially in the context of Nepal, I never let distance become a barrier to achieving my dream of studying law. Instead, it taught me discipline, resilience, and perseverance.
One of the achievements I am most proud of is that I was able to significantly improve my academic performance compared to my SEE results. The supportive learning environment, dedicated teachers, and continuous encouragement at Heartland helped me build confidence and reach my full potential.
Heartland was more than just a college—it became my second home. The caring faculty, friendly atmosphere, and positive learning environment made every day enjoyable and inspiring. I always felt supported, valued, and motivated to grow both academically and personally.
I successfully graduated with a CGPA of 3.50 in Law, an achievement that reflects my hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of my family, teachers, and the entire Heartland community.
Looking ahead, I aspire to build a meaningful career in the legal profession. My goal is to continue my legal education, strengthen my knowledge and practical skills, and become a competent and ethical legal professional who advocates for justice, equality, and the rule of law. I hope to use my education to make a positive impact on society by helping individuals understand and protect their legal rights while contributing to the development of Nepal's legal system.
I am truly grateful to the Heartland Academy Centre for Women for believing in me, providing me with a full scholarship, and helping me transform my potential into success. My journey at Heartland has laid a strong foundation for my future, and I will always be proud to be a part of the Heartland family. I wholeheartedly recommend Heartland to every student who is looking for quality education, a nurturing environment, and the opportunity to achieve their dreams”.
