🦁 Handover Program 2026–2027 Successfully Concluded

Lions Club of Kathmandu Bagmati successfully conducted its Handover Program, Fellowship, and Committee Formation Meeting, marking the beginning of another exciting Lionistic Year filled with new responsibilities and a renewed commitment to service.

The day became even more special as we celebrated the birthday of our beloved Lion Karuna Shakya. 🎂💐 Our sincere gratitude to Lion Karuna for graciously hosting the program and for the wonderful hospitality extended to all members.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the program a memorable one. Here's to a year of friendship, fellowship, and meaningful service.

🌳🦁 A Proud Day of Service, Fellowship, and New Beginnings! 🦁🌳

The spirit of "We Serve" was beautifully reflected on 11 July 2026 as Lions came together for two remarkable occasions on the same day. Lions Club of Kathmandu Bagmati successfully conducted our 1st Signature Programme of the Lionistic Year 2026/27 – One House One Tree at the residence of our respected District Governor, Lion Uddhab Silwal. This initiative reflects our commitment to environmental sustainability and our vision of creating a greener future—one tree, one home at a time. 🌱

Following our signature programme, our members proudly participated in the District 325 H Service Week Closing Ceremony, celebrating a week of dedicated humanitarian service and honoring the collective efforts of Lions across the district.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our District leadership, fellow Lions, and everyone who joined us in making both occasions meaningful and successful. Together, we continue to strengthen our bond of friendship, uphold the spirit of service, and create a lasting impact in our communities.

🌱 Our First Service Project of the Lionistic Year 2026–2027 🌱
On July 5, 2026, as part of Service Week (July 1–7), the Lions Club of Kathmandu Bagmati successfully conducted a Tree Plantation Program at Shree Pancha Maha Laxmi Temple, Sankhu.
This project marked the beginning of our new tenure with a shared commitment to protecting the environment and serving our community.
A very special thanks to Lion Salma Sherchan for efficiently coordinating the entire program despite the short preparation time. Your dedication and hard work made this initiative a success.
Heartfelt appreciation to PP Lion Deepak Bajracharya, IPP Lion Sanjaya Lal Shrestha, and Lion Pushpa Shrestha for their generous support in arranging transportation, which played a vital role in the smooth ex*****on of the program.
We are also grateful to all our Lions members, volunteers, the team at Shree Pancha Maha Laxmi Temple, Lions Club of Kohinoor, and everyone who supported this initiative—whether by being present, contributing plants, or helping behind the scenes.
Every contribution, big or small, made a meaningful difference.

Over the past two months, our club has remained actively engaged in meaningful service, leadership, and community development activities with the shared goal of creating a positive impact in society. 💙

🔹 Active involvement in eco-friendly campaigns, heritage conservation, and cleanliness drives

On Feb 7, the Lions Club of Kathmandu Bagmati turned Chaitya Resort, Jarsinghpauwa into a playground of laughter, music, games and timeless memories. Age was just a number, but the fun was forever young! From joyful moments to heartwarming connections, it was a picnic full of smiles, stories, and unstoppable spirit. 🦁
