Dear Members,

Greetings from the Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal (MMSN).

We are pleased to announce that the Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal (MMSN) and the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA) will be collaborating to conduct a Voluntary Health Camp at Gosainkunda from 20 August 2026 to 29 August 2026.
We are currently seeking applications from:
5 Doctors
1 Medical Student

Eligibility Criteria for Doctors
Must possess a valid Nepal Medical Council (NMC) Registration Number.
Provisional NMC Registration Numbers will not be considered.
Applicants must have successfully passed the Nepal Medical Council Licensing Examination (NMCLE).

All expenses related to the health camp, including transportation, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by the organizing institutions.

Interested candidates are requested to submit the following documents:
Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Motivational Letter

Our Journal Club session held on June 23, 2026, has successfully concluded.

We would like to thank Dr. Sachet Subedi for leading the discussion and providing us with a great presentation.

Dear Members,

We are pleased to share that the Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal (MMSN) has successfully completed Himali Sambad – Episode 3 today on 9th May 2026.
The session brought together around 30 MMSN members for an engaging and insightful academic discussion on the topic: “Physiological Approach to Altitude Illness.”

We were honored to have Dr.Steven Roy as the speaker for the session. His engaging presentation and valuable insights on altitude illness made the discussion highly informative and inspiring for all participants.
We would also like to sincerely thank all the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the session.
