Blue Heaven Nepal is an NGO working for HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment and the promotion of Human Rights for s*xual and gender minorities in Nepal.
Blue Heaven Nepal will accelerate the implementation of activities that demonstrate marked improvements in HIV case findings among KPs and priority populations (PPs) and increase early enrollment in treatment, viral load testing and improve adherence and retention among PLHIV. Blue Heaven Nepal under FHI360/EpiC Nepal project announces vacancy for following position:

Position- Peer Navigator (PN)

District: Bara

Required Number - # 01

Requirements
• Ability to read and write in Nepali.
• Two-wheeler license/bike holders are on priority to apply.
• Only Nepali citizens are eligible to apply.
• Feasible age for candidates: above 20 and less than 50.
• Skill to fill the recording and reporting forms assigned to peer navigators.
• Living with HIV who serves as medication-adherent role models.
• Proficiency in local language and Nepali if that is relevant to the local context.
• Experience working with communities of people living with HIV, men who have s*x with men and/or transgender individuals, and s*x workers (male and/or female) preferred.
• Flexible working in off-hours (beyond standard office time) based on the working areas and availability of KPs to provide services as needed.
• Minimum knowledge about HIV and KPs program.
