Globally, 2 in 5 schools lack basic sanitation and clean water access, increasing students risk of illness and missed learning time.

We’re heading back to Jumla to focus on hygiene education and hands-on activities that keep kids healthy, in school, and thriving. 🌱

🚽 It's not just toilets, it’s dignity, health & education

At Namuna School in Jumla, building a proper toilet was only step one. What really changed lives was the hygiene and sanitation education that came with it.

Clean facilities + knowledge = kids (especially girls) staying healthy, confident, and in class — not missing school because of periods, illness or lack of privacy.

Because our work isn’t just about building a place to do your business, it’s about giving every child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive!

In a world of constant change, uncertainty and a bit of chaos, education is the anchor that keeps hope alive. 🌍📚

We have a singular goal. To ensure that children stay in school, because every day in the classroom is a step toward a brighter future, for them and the communities they serve.

Learning isn’t just about books. By supporting education, we’re helping the next generation build a better tomorrow. ✨

Every splash tells a story. 💧✨

At Kalika School, children once faced a daily struggle: no clean water, limited sanitation, and classrooms interrupted by preventable illness. This reality is changing.

Now kids can wash their hands and use upgraded facilities, small actions that protect health, keep them in school, and give them a chance to thrive.

We’re returning to complete a community education program and expand infrastructure, making clean water and safe sanitation a lasting reality.

Help us ensure every child deserves a safe, healthy place to learn at 🌱

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate strength, but we must speak truth.

Our work has gender written all over it.

When sanitation systems fail, it is women and girls who suffer most.
They are the ones who wake before dawn or wait until dark to protect their dignity.
They are the ones who miss school during menstruation.
They are the ones who carry the physical, emotional, and social burden of unsafe water and toilets.

BUT Women are not just the most affected, they are the leaders of change.

They are the primary educators in our programs.
They are the mothers who model hygiene, resilience, and responsibility.
They are the farmers who put innovation into practice.
They are our volunteer health professionals teaching menstrual hygiene with courage.
They are the ones who make the home.

When women lead, sanitation becomes more than infrastructure.
It becomes dignity.
It becomes health.
It becomes empowerment.

Today, we honor the women who teach, who build, who advocate, who nurture, and who refuse to accept inequity as normal.

When children stay in school, communities grow stronger. Clean water, sanitation, proper hygiene education and community support, helps remove the barriers that force kids to drop out. Our work ensures they can keep learning, dreaming, and building their futures.

Every child in this photo represents possibility. And together, we make sure that possibility stays in the classroom. 💛

🚽 Clean, safe toilets change everything for kids.

In rural Nepal, many schools still lack functioning toilets, putting children’s health, dignity, and education at risk.

Through hygiene education, community action, and sustainable sanitation, we’re helping kids stay healthy and in school, ready to learn. 💧

It’s time to Give A S**t, for their futures.

Every month, more than one-third of girls in South Asia miss school during their periods.

Having your period should not be the end to your education because there’s no safe place to change, or the only toilets are broken, shared, or lack water. This is a barrier to education.

When schools don’t have proper sanitation, girls may skip class, fall behind, or even drop out altogether. 😔

But we can change this. We’re working to build reliable toilets and water systems, so no girl ever has to stay home because of her period again.

Sometimes change is simple — but powerful.

At Kalika School, restoring water access means students can finally wash their hands. That’s it. No walking off campus. No using unsafe sources. Just water where it belongs.

Handwashing is one of the most effective ways to prevent disease, keep kids healthy, and keep them in class. Clean water isn’t a luxury, it’s the foundation of learning.

Our work at Kalika School isn’t done though. We’ve got big plans for 2026.
Stay tuned. Donate. Spread the word.

And as always, **t. 💧💩
