Introduction Program
The Palika-level Empowered Girls, Safe Community Project Introduction Program was successfully conducted in Kanakasundari Rural Municipality and Sinja Rural Municipality, Jumla. The program was implemented by PACE-Nepal and CAD Nepal, Jumla, in partnership with Plan International Nepal. During the program, the heads of the relevant thematic sections of the local governments were oriented on the project’s goals, objectives, and major activities. The participants provided valuable suggestions and recommendations for the effective implementation of the project. The program also helped strengthen coordination, collaboration, and cooperation with the local governments. The annual project budget and the expected co-investment from stakeholders were also shared during the program. The project will be implemented from July 2026 to June 2028. For this year, the annual budget of PACE-Nepal is NPR 19 million. PACE-Nepal will focus on humanitarian assistance, climate change and disaster risk reduction, and livelihood activities. CAD Nepal will focus on security and support for vulnerable children.

2-Day First Aid Training Successfully Completed!
Organized by PACE-Nepal, Jumla, a two-day First Aid Training was successfully conducted on July 4–5, 2026, under the "Utthan" Project, funded by Caritas Germany, Caritas Nepal, and Tilagufa Municipality.
Trained 26 key participants (4 females, 22 males), including Tilagufa Municipality's Mayor, Deputy Mayor, CAO, staff, and Disaster Management Committee members from Wards 1–11. Participants gained vital skills to deliver immediate, life-saving first aid during emergencies, strengthening grassroots disaster resilience. Heartfelt thanks to our donors, Tilagufa Municipality, trainers, and participants for making this impactful initiative a success!
