August 26,a dark day for Nepal.
The flash flood caused by the glacial event has taken the lives of numerous Nepalis. Many families have lost their homes and loved ones, while countless people are still missing.
In a crucial moment like this, we Nepali people have a duty to stand for our country and, most importantly, for our people. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stepped forward to help, including the Government of Nepal, the Nepal Army, rescue teams, helicopter teams, volunteers, and those providing donations and support.
As ordinary citizens, we too have a responsibility to help those in need. We can start by bringing awareness to this tragedy through whatever platforms we have and by encouraging others to contribute. Donations through the official channels provided by the Government of Nepal can also make a meaningful difference.
We believe that in a time of crisis, compassion must be turned into action. This is when our country and our people need us the most. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a big impact.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families. May the souls of those who lost their lives rest in peace.
