Samaj Utthan Yuwa Kendra - SUYUK Dhanusha SUYUK is a non for profit making non-government organization located in Dhanusha District. Later on, it rapidly expanded to other areas.

Samaj Utthan Yuwa Kendra (SUYUK) was initiated as a club by youth of the Gopalpur, Dhanusha, for the development of community which later on was formally registered as an NGO in the year 2001 A.D. This transition from a small club to a registered NGO was necessitated by the increasing, diverse and challenging demand from the community as a result of greater trust and expectation of community from

SUYUK, which could not be adequately fulfilled by continuing as a club. Initially, SUYUK performed small activities in Gopalpur such as mobilizing community to building roads, irrigation cannel and raising voice to demand for basic services such as electricity etc. Presently, SUYUK is working in Dhanusha district. The organization has been successful in implementing programme related to women empowerment, ethnic group awareness, child mortality reduction, poverty alleviation, gender equity, health, Water and sanitation Campaign and so on. Along with various social services
SUYUK has also provided employment to various Dalit and Indigenous people. It has
formulated strong commitment towards the quality and satisfaction of work and its accountability
towards the community.
